Our free ovulation calendar shows your most fertile days for getting pregnant.
Plans are based on the fact that, for most women, ovulation happens approximately 14 days before the next menstrual period. As ovulation approaches, your chances of getting pregnant will increase. Knowing when you ovulate will help you time intercourse that can result in getting pregnant.

How to choose the sex of your baby bookIf you are trying for a boy or girl, the planner will also suggest some actions that may influence the sex of the child, based on the scientific research of Dr Landrum Shettles and David M. Rorvik, who published findings in a book called:

Are you trying to get pregnant?

Knowing when you ovulate will increase your chances of getting pregnant.

Some women find it easy to get pregnant, others don't. The key to becoming pregnant is determining when ovulation will occur. A woman is usually able to get pregnant for about 5 days each month, when ovulation occurs. On average, ovulation occurs 12 to 16 days before the menstrual period begins. Because sperm can live for 3 to 5 days in a woman's reproductive tract, it is possible to become pregnant if intercourse occurs several days before ovulation.

Your menstrual cycle begins with the first day your period starts and ends the day before your next period starts. If you do not know the number of days in your menstrual cycle, use 28 days, which is the average length of a menstrual cycle.

Use the following tool as a quick way to get an idea of when you might ovulate.

If you want to determine the length of your cycle, use a calendar to track it. Some women have longer or shorter cycles. If your ovulation cycle changes each month, the ovulation calculator here will help you work out your fertile time, based on an average you put in.

A Basal Body Temperature ovulation chart (BBT) will give you a better idea of the day you ovulate.
